Yes, it’s a web service — but entirely on our own infrastructure. That means you’re not reliant on Amazon, Google, or any other major cloud provider that could cut access tomorrow. It’s a small, dedicated backend we fully own and control. If we decide to keep it alive (which costs only modest yearly fees), it keeps running. No multi-million budgets needed — just the will to keep supporting you, which we’ve proven from day one.

You’re dependent on us only in the sense that every advanced tool needs updates and maintenance.

By using a managed backend, we can evolve Freesker and keep it functional, no matter what updates the car gets.

    As for progress:

    • We’re currently in the final test phase of ADAS fixes and VCU enable/disable - integration will start asap.

    • Unlike others, we didn’t just wrap a basic OBD reader — we dug deep into proprietary systems. That takes time.

    • Regarding the offline version: as outlined in our FAQs, it will become available starting 12 months from the date your paid version was activated.

We could throw out quick updates every week for marketing hype. But we’d rather release something when it’s truly tested and safe — your car isn’t a toy.

We’re not here for a quick cash grab. If we were, we’d have vanished like so many others. Instead, we’re still answering your questions day after day. That should say more than any “roadmap” ever could.

    Hey HamburgerJunge,

honestly, you’ve got this all wrong. Our tool is not dependent on any third-party servers at all — we run our own backend infrastructure, fully under our control and completely independent from external clouds. Keeping private servers up doesn’t take millions; it’s a modest investment that ensures stability for years. So the whole “what if they shut down” scenario simply doesn’t apply.

Also, let’s be real: our tool was copied by others. Funny how all those so-called “smart guys” in the US weren’t clever enough to come up with it themselves — it took a small workshop in Armenia to figure it out first. Maybe let that sink in.

We were the first ones to truly help Fisker owners, when no one else even cared. So here’s a thought: if those platforms you’re betting on ever fail, try Freesker — and see for yourself what it’s like to have something that’s actually engineered to keep you independent.

Freesker doesn’t aim to replace FOA or OV Loop for remote functions like locking or California Mode.

Instead, it connects directly to the vehicle’s ECUs via OBD, fully independent of any cloud services — which means it keeps working even if servers don’t.

    Current and upcoming capabilities include:

    • VCU enable/disable (HV battery control)

    • DTC read & delete

    • Key fob pairing & deletion

    • NFC card pairing

    • ADAS recovery (in development)

    • Deep ECU diagnostics

No server dependency. No cloud fallback.

If it breaks, we fix it. If it’s offline, we’re still online.

FOA, Freesker, Loop, Fisker-AT usw. kochen ihr eigenes Süppchen.

Bis heute gibt es keine offizielle Stellungnahme. Man wird Monat für Monat hingehalten. Jeder will Geld verdienen, aber kein einziger will Verantwortung übernehmen.

We can only speak for Freesker - we saw it more as a joint effort and made ourselves less dependent on the rest.

No worries — Freesker runs fully independent of any external servers.

Even if systems like Ocean Loop try to lock things down, our tool talks directly to the car, not through the cloud. No servers, no restrictions.

If you don‘t now your exact numbers, how can you know what you are doing or can do for us other user?

It’s not a lack of internal insight — we do monitor user activity and system usage carefully. The reason we don’t share exact numbers is not about transparency, but protection: public communication around growth or reach has, in the past, triggered attempts to block or undermine our work, which ultimately affects Fisker users.

Freesker is the only diagnostic solution available for Fisker vehicles — and it didn’t just appear overnight. It’s the result of countless hours of engineering, testing, and deep technical understanding of the vehicle's architecture. This kind of work can’t be replicated quickly or casually, and that’s precisely why we operate under constant observation.

Our goal remains the same: to support Fisker drivers in a space where no official tools exist — and to do so responsibly.

we can’t share exact numbers because we’re closely watched daily by official parties—either to copy our work or to slow us down. Honestly, we definitely had a different vision for how things would go, but we’re staying committed and doing our best.

We don’t do countdowns – we launch when it’s ready to fly.

We had some unexpected delays with our old payment provider that stopped transactions for a while, but that’s fixed now with a new secure gateway. Some parts of Freesker got copied by others (even official groups), but quick copies just don’t match our quality and slowed us down a bit. We’re still an independent, community-driven team, committed to supporting Fisker drivers and moving forward as soon as enough users join. Even with the current user numbers, we’ve decided to roll out more features to keep things moving.

Further functions are on the way 8)
