Hier das Statement der FOA zum Thema:
https://community.fiskeroa.com…-of-1-october-2024/7102/1
As of October 1, 2024, TomTom connected services are offline for Fisker Oceans in Europe and the United Kingdom.
Fisker owners in the EEA and UK, and Huron (the management company running Fisker on behalf of creditors) have confirmed the outage.
TomTom connected services are still live in the United States, but will cease on October 11, 2024.
Map navigation is still functional, however
traffic and routes are based on stored maps.
Caution - there are no live traffic or online updates!
The abrupt outage of services was NOT communicated, nor was any notice provided by TomTom or Huron/Fisker during existing, ongoing negotiations. FOA has urgently requested Huron/Fisker to provide specific contract expiry dates for other critical connectivity services.
PRACTICALLY WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Your car will continue to have local map navigation based on stored maps. Live traffic data will not show up - your navigation directions and time estimates will not be based on current traffic data or new road conditions, status or availability. Please use common sense and a reliable backup to verify the accessibility and validity of the routes planned by the TomTom system.
NEXT STEPS
FOA and Huron have been, and continue to engage in negotiations with TomTom, T-Mobile and other providers to ensure and/or reinstate cloud connectivity and service continuity for the Fisker Ocean fleet. FOA will provide updates on the progress of negotiations and estimates for service reinstatement. These actions were already in the works, and are ongoing. Updates will follow.
